The Story

Travel Beyond is a boutique, family-owned travel consultancy. Before we started working together, the company hadn’t updated its brand in many years. They were looking for a complete marketing overhaul that better reflected the company and its premium service, and would help them reach a high-end audience.

Travel Beyond’s President hired me as the company’s mini marketing agency to develop the new brand and a long list of other deliverables, including ad campaigns, sales materials, and a new website design.

Over the course of several years, I served as Travel Beyond’s go-to creative resource. I worked closely with the President and internal marketing team, consulted with them on strategy and tactics, and handled all of their marketing.

To build awareness and distinguish the company from the competition, I helped Travel Beyond find its authentic voice and better communicate its unique value and expertise.

The work combined a refined look and feel with strategic messaging that reflected Travel Beyond’s high-level service and in-depth industry knowledge.

Among many highlights was a memorable self-promotion piece – a leather-bound “travel journal” containing company info, consultant bios, and travel photos. The piece received high marks from customers and prospects who loved its creativity and uniqueness.

Overall, the work established Travel Beyond as an industry leader, significantly strengthening its position and market presence. It also increased company pride and loyalty with existing clients and helped convert new clients.
